Our Mission
Go Global’s vision is to make Go more accessible across the world through a unified effort. Go is a strategic board game that originated over 2,500 years ago in East Asia. Despite its depth and complexity, Go is remarkably simple to start: all you need is a board, black and white stones, and a curious mind.
Unlike many modern games, Go is low-cost, language-free, and playable by all ages. This makes it one of the most accessible games in the world — perfect for classrooms, community centers, libraries, or even a kitchen table.
At Go Global, we believe that Go is more than a game — it's a way to build focus, patience, and cross-cultural connections. Our mission is to empower youth to bring Go to underrepresented regions through education, donations, and community-building, ensuring that anyone, anywhere, can learn and enjoy this timeless game.
