Sarah Yu is an amateur 6d player from Canada. She began learning Go at the age of 6 and her coach was Yunsheng Ruan 7p from China. She immigrated to Canada when she was 15 and had represented Canada and North America in various tournaments. In 2012, she won a bronze for Canada in the Women's individual at the World Mind Sports Game. And in 2017, she was placed 5th in the women's individual at the IMSA Elite Mind Games tournament.
Sarah began teaching Go in January 2014, and she looks forward to teaching beginners to play Go and have fun together. Sarah also runs a café called Go & Tea in Camrose, AB, where she welcomes everyone to come enjoy tea and the game of Go. https://goandtea.ca
